Who We Are
Remilon is a Web media company on a mission to make education accessible.
We own and operate a small family of websites, including our flagship site Education-Portal.com, that help over 6 million monthly education seekers make life-shaping decisions. We are currently focusing on solving the student debt crisis by developing free courses that lead to real, transferable college credit.
We began our journey in 2002 as a self-funded start-up and continue to operate as a private, independent company in Mountain View, CA. Being self-funded has enabled us to operate under the core principle of creating more value than we capture, which inspires our projects. We also give back by funding scholarships, building public computer labs, and supporting charities that promote open access to education throughout the poorest regions of the U.S. and the world.
